Andrew, the print shop worker who scanned and printed Zoë’s pictures, looked at this piece in silence and said one word: Abortion.

That same day, Luke’s father revealed for the first time the abortion he and Zoë had in 1982.

This picture now hangs on Luke’s stairwell.
